Teleprompter for teachers
Consistent delivery, every lesson.
Recording course material is a different job from teaching a room. There is no class to read, no questions to react to, and every stumble is a cut you will have to make later. A prompter restores the one thing a live room gives you for free: a reason to keep going forward.
It also solves the repetition problem. If you teach the same module every term, a saved script means this year's recording matches last year's in structure and length, and you only re-record the parts that actually changed.
Why educators use it
- Record course intros and lessons with a steady, even pace.
- Reuse standard scripts across multiple classes and terms.
- Keep your energy up without stumbling on the next line.
- Scripts stay on your own device — useful under school data rules.
Recommended settings
Teaching delivery wants clarity over speed. Err slower than feels natural on the first pass.
- Scroll speed
- 115–135 wpm, slower still for technical material students need time to absorb.
- Font size
- 56–72 px so you can stand back from the screen and still gesture naturally.
- Display
- White on black for a darkened recording room; black on white if you film in a bright classroom.
Classroom-ready
Save a standard intro as a script, load it before each lecture, adjust the font for your camera distance and press Play. For a whole module, keep one script per lesson with a clear name — the saved list shows when each was last edited, which makes it easy to see what you've already refreshed this term. Everything stays in your browser on your own machine, so no student-facing material passes through a third-party server.
